Energy Efficient and Sustainable Kitchen Ventilation Design Symposium

Halton will be hosting an Energy Efficient and Sustainable Kitchen Ventilation Design Symposium with Don Fisher and Rich Catan.

Date: Tuesday March 9, 2010
Time: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
Where: Direct Energy Centre, Presentation Room
              100 Princess Blvd, Toronto, Ontario M6K 3C3

Overview:
Sustainable and energy efficient design in commercial kitchen ventilation is the goal of the design team. One of the challenges in achieving an integrated ventilation design solution is coordination of the multiple disciplines involved and understanding the interaction of the total system. The goal of the seminar is to provide an overview of the entire integrated ventilation design methodology, from the exhaust system, air distribution layout to control applications. These are the building blocks for achieving a sustainable design and optimized energy savings. The importance of high-performance hoods and demand ventilation controls will be highlighted.
