Halton Embraces Well Being
Halton products have been utilized globally for over forty years in many different settings: commercial buildings, ocean going vessels, off-shore oil rigs, research and development laboratories and commercial kitchen environments from chain restaurants, to universities, to catering facilities.
This vast experience of product knowledge has allowed Halton to understand the need for increasing the customer value proposition and expand our focus from products to solutions that embrace a full scope of indoor environmental quality, safety and energy-efficiency.
By focusing this scope to our customer base, Halton insures the well being of people working in demanding commercial environments. Well being is defined by Webster’s dictionary as “the state of being healthy, happy and free from want.” For Halton, our goal is to provide thermally comfortable, safe and energy efficient spaces for people to live and work.
Halton’s Chairman of the Board, Mika Halttunen, stated: “Investment in research and development has made it possible for us to enhance our scope of business. To offer our customers an even greater value proposition and expand our operations from systems to solutions that touch indoor environmental quality, safety and energy efficiency. Our new mission, of enabling well being of people and businesses, are achieved by following the performance targets from design to the end use of the building. We at Halton simulate indoor environmental conditions in the design phase, develop and deliver system solutions, and provide services that validate those system performances. These criteria affect new-build conditions as well as renovations, and problem solving of existing structures.”

To reflect the embracing of this new, expanded scope, Halton’s mission statement has been revamped: “Halton – Enabling Well Being”. Symbolical of this new mission, and the embracement of a business vision that encompasses indoor environmental quality, safety, and energy efficiency, Halton introduces the ‘Halton Aura’
Halton Launches New Generation of Solutions
Halton embraces TKHVACTM a total approach to the restaurant environment. Utilization of M.A.R.V.E.L. demand control technology and energy efficient 100% OSA roof-top packages, the system controls the demand for cooling based on position of the cooking equipment, the highest heat-load in any restaurant. By combination of energy-efficient Capture-Jet© ventilation systems, demand control and 100% OSA packages, the solution provides upwards of a fifty-four percent reduction in energy demand, while increasing the thermal comfort of the space by finite control of temperature and humidity, thus increasing safety, comfort and productivity for the restaurant staff, while cutting utility bills for the operator.
