Autodesk® Revit® Architecture is a building information modeling (BIM) software that provides architects and designers with the tools that enable them to design freely, keep information better coordinated, and deliver the design more efficiently. Halton is the first kitchen ventilation manufacturer to introduce a complete family in Revit®. This state of the art design program is used by leading architects to create a 3 dimensional paradigm that employs intelligent 3D objects to represent real physical building components such as an exhaust systems. In Revit®, a component such as the Capture Jet® hood can be moved in any view, and all other views of the model will update automatically. As each ‘view’ is a camera of the actual 3D model, a change anywhere is a change everywhere. Halton, providing more than just a 3D box, will have features such as exhaust airflow, static pressure and lighting requirements imbedded in the model allowing it to interact with other building systems that are connected to it.
