Next Generation Capture Jet® hood with Side-Jet technology
Next Generation Halton Capture Jet® incorporating advanced Side-Jet technology combines high efficiency kitchen ventilation, energy savings and environmental compatibility.
Halton Foodservice, the world leader in the ventilation technology market for professional kitchens, innovates once again with the launch of its new range introducing the latest-generation Capture Jet ® technologies for high efficiency Foodservice environments. The added features and new design of the Capture Jet® with Side-Jet technology, integrates all the services needed for improving comfort, productivity, hygiene and safety in the kitchen. The Halton Capture Jet® with Side-Jet technology further increases hood efficiency while protecting against cross drafts that affect capture & containment. This will provide a reduction in operating and maintenance costs, ease of use, and full control of emissions to respect the environment.
Halton’s new generation of patented Capture Jet® hoods are based on the use of full perimeter jets on all open sides. The Capture Jet® with Side-Jet technology provides a healthy, productive working environment by preventing heat and impurities from spreading through the working area while reducing exhaust rates and reducing energy costs. The horizontal, vertical and side-jets with an aerodynamic design of the new generation Capture Jet® technology enhance the performance at the critical areas, and allow the canopy to operate between 30 to 40 % lower exhaust flow rates than conventional kitchen hoods to remove equal heat loads. With reduced exhaust rates a total kitchen HVAC solution can be realized and air conditioning costs are minimized.
For maximum emission control, the Halton Capture Jet® with Side-Jets are equipped with patented low pressure loss KSA multi cyclone filters to reinforce the grease extraction action. The stainless steel KSA high efficiency separators are NSF and UL classified and achieve 93% removal of grease particles sized 5 microns and 98% removal of grease particles sized 15 microns and above. Due to the centrifugal separation method in the individual chambers, the Halton KSA filter has a very large free area ratio compared to traditional grease filters. This allows for a smaller pressure loss across the filter, which reduces the energy requirements of the exhaust fan and lowers the noise generated by the exhaust, while still reducing even further operational costs of the Halton Capture Jet® system.
The Halton Capture Jet® with Side-Jet technology are provided with integral T.A.BTM testing and balancing ports for simple and accurate field balancing.
The Capture Jet ® with Side-Jet technology range of ventilation systems is an integrated solution ready to take advantage of Halton’s emission control technologies (Capture Ray UV-C and Ecoloair air purification technologies), automatic cleaning features, Utility Distribution System (Model KDS) and a complete fire suppression systems. All these features contribute to carrying out foodservice operations that respect the environment and promote a rapid return on investment.
